5kW Power Converter
The C/B 4800 Series of 6U DC/DC and AC/DC converter modules have been introduced by Schaefer Inc. The output power in the device ranges from 2.4W to 5kW. The C/B 4800 Series feature a very robust design and provide a high density.
The device can be used in railway controls and communications equipment, military applications, oil rigs applications, fuel cell applications, transportation and others.
The standard operation temperature is -20 degrees C to +75 degrees C. There is also an option of -40 degrees C.
All models have protection circuitry including overvoltage, overload, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown with auto restart.
There are also other options available: with input inrush current limiting, DC input reverse polarity protection, output
parallel/redundant operation, remote on/off, Power Fail/DC-OK alarms and system reset.
