The MPI-706H has just been introduced by Magic Power Technology Inc. The new device is  compact 170 x 52 x 39mm, 60W/80W AC-DC ATX output power supply. It’s also 1U compliant and can generate 80 Watts utilizing 8.6CFM forced air-cooling, or 60 Watts using convection cooling.

The device features a U-chassis design meaning there is no need for a cooling fan. On the other hand, it allows a reduced power consumption and ultra quiet operation.

The MPI-706H can be used in any applications that require low power consumption, small size, and cool, silent operation, such as mini-ITX and other industrial applications.

The new non-contact charger IC / module for ODM technology has numerous applications. It can be used in waterproof GPS watch, waterproof products, high precise electronic products and machine safety products.

NXP Semiconductors has introduced the GreenChip PC chipset that has achieved 80 PLUS Gold certification for a reference design. It’s got efficiency of 90%.

The GreenChip PC exceed all relevant current and future industry standards.

NXP Semiconductors have introduced the first PC power supply solution to achieve the 80 PLUS Gold Standard. The device has a high efficiency of 90% and is the first PC desktop power supply to accelerate its green power roadmaps.

Desktops with the NXP GreenChip PC solution reduce energy losses to up to 50%, they will also have a great impact on the amount of power consumed.
